A Day in the Life...

Hi Guys and welcome to another Blog post!

I don't know about you, but I love to see what other people get up to in their daily life. So, I thought I would share with you what a typical day in the life of me looks like.

6:30am

Wake up. I always find it a struggle getting out of bed in the morning, but I manage to drag myself up after about 5 minutes of stretching. My cats are usually all lined up waiting for their breakfast, so the first thing I do when I get up is feed them.

6:40am

Once the cats are happy I jump in the shower, brush my teeth and moisturise my body. The body moisturiser I am currently using is the Palmers' Firming Butter. I then head back to my bedroom for my skincare routine. I start by cleansing my face with the Superdrug Tea Tree Cleanser and Toner. Next I use some Germolene antiseptic cream on any blemishes that I have and finish off with the Neutrogena Visibly Clear Oil Free Moisturiser. I use my deodorant and perfume and then wonder over to my dressing table.

7:00am

Time to make myself look presentable. During the week I am very limited to time in the mornings, so I don't tend to put that much effort into my face. Firstly, I apply the BarryM Flawless Colour Correcting Primer as a base. Then I use the Rimmel Wake Me Up Concealer in the shade 010 Ivory under my eyes and on any breakouts. To finish off the face make-up I use the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation in the shade 100 Ivory and the Rimmel Clear Complexion Translucent Pressed Powder. I like to add a bit of colour back into my face with the L'Oreal Le Blush in the shade 145 and keep the eyes very simple by applying some of the Max Factor Masterpiece Max Mascara to my upper and lower lashes. To finish the look I use the Make-Up Revolution Pro Fix Oil Control Fixing Spray to ensure that my make-up stays in place all day.

7:15am

I brush my hair and head into the kitchen for some breakfast. My go to breakfast in the week is granola with almond milk. It's quick and easy on a very busy morning (and it tastes good too!)

7:25am

Just before I leave, I make up a cup of my Bootea morning tea to take with me in the car and this is when I make my lunch if I can be bothered!

7:30am

Travel to work.

8:10am

Get out of the car and walk along the seafront to the office. Nothing better than a sea breeze to wake you up in the morning.

8:30am

Arrive at the office and check social media before the work day begins.

9:00am

Start working.

1:00pm

Lunchtime! Sometimes I will head into town for a wonder and get some lunch if I was too lazy to make it in the morning. I will also tend to check social media again during my lunch break, just to see what everyone else is up to.

2:00pm

Back to work.

5:15pm

Time to go home. Woo!

6:00pm

The first thing I will do when I get home is go to my bedroom, put down my bag and go on my phone to catch up on what I have missed during the day.

6:30pm

I usually have dinner around this time and catch up with my family about everyones day.

7:00pm

After dinner I usually sit down to do some studying or work on my Blog.

8:00pm

Time for a shower! I normally have a shower in the evening and wash my hair, but if I have had a particularly busy day or I'm feeling a bit under the weather, I will have a bath instead.

8:30pm

Now that I am nice and relaxed, I climb into bed and do some more work on my Blog. If I am not working on my Blog I like to watch something on my laptop. I have just finished Game of Thrones and I am now starting Line of Duty. What do you like to watch in the evenings?

10:00pm

By this time I am starting to feel the pace, so I head into the bathroom to brush my teeth and then clamber back under the duvet, set my alarm and go to sleep.

I get up to on an average day. If you would like to see a more in depth post about any of my everyday routines let me know in the comments, I would love to hear your requests. Subscribe and head over to my social media, which will be linked below as always, so that you never miss a new post. I hope you have enjoyed seeing what

Catch you next time!
