Blogmas Day 23 - New Year's Resolutions!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 23!

As another year is coming to an end and we are nearly in 2018, I thought I would share my new years resolutions. Then, this time next year, I can reflect on them and see how many I have achieved. I must admit, I am great at setting them, but not so good at keeping to them. Who knows? 2018 could be the year.

The first one is to spend less money. Last year, I had a resolution similar to this, but it was to save more. I have actually been pretty good at this and I have set aside some money each month. However, the money that I don't save gets spent on a lot of useless things that I probably don't need. I am terrible when it comes to shopping, so I am going to try and restrain myself next year and spend less. Obviously, I am not going to restrict myself completely, because a girl needs a treat once in a while! Just maybe not every week...

My next new years resolution is work related. This year I have almost passed my AAT qualification at foundation level. I am hoping to take my last exam early next year and then start studying for the advanced level. My goal is to complete this level by the end of 2018.

These next three are my fitness goals for next year, and the first is to drink more water. This was one of my resolutions for this year, but I failed miserably, so I am going to try again this year. I am going to aim to drink 2 litres a day to flush out my body of bad toxins and to improve my skin.

Next up, eat healthier. I feel like this is one that I fail at every year, but I am really going to try this time...I was pretty good at this throughout 2017, but I did slip up quite a lot and it has now gone completely out the window. Now with this I do not mean that I am never allowed an unhealthy treat, I will still enjoy a chocolate bar or two now and again. But, I am just going to try and cut back on the unhealthy snacks and switch them up for some fruit or nuts.

And finally, I would really like to tone my body. I am quite happy with my body weight and my goal is not to lose fat. But, I would love to have a more defined figure. So, I am going to try and do some more weight training throughout the year whilst still keeping up with the running. Well, I say keeping up, but this is something else that has gone belly up recently, so I suppose I mean pick back up!

I think these goals are all very achievable; it's just whether I  can actually stick to them. I really am going to try my hardest! What are your goals for 2018? Head over to my social media, which will be linked below as always, so that you never miss a new post. 2 sleeps to go...

Catch you tomorrow for Day 24!

  1. I think these are some great achievable goals! One of my goals is actually to become more toned and have recently joined a gym and got a workout plan which I find amazing! Good luck with all your goals and I can't wait to see if you achieve them at the end of the year!
