Blogmas Day 24 – My First Blogmas!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 24! I can’t believe it’s Christmas Day tomorrow. I have really enjoyed my first Blogmas, so much so that I started planning it in August! I thought, as it was my first time doing this, that it would be a good idea to end with a summary of how I got on and what I am going to do differently next year. A lot of hard work goes into Blogmas; getting enough pictures together, thinking of ideas and then actually finding the time to write. So if you are thinking of starting a Blog or of doing Blogmas next year, just make sure that…

    Blogmas Day 23 – New Year’s Resolutions!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 23! As another year is coming to an end and we are nearly in 2018, I thought I would share my new years resolutions. Then, this time next year, I can reflect on them and see how many I have achieved. I must admit, I am great at setting them, but not so good at keeping to them. Who knows? 2018 could be the year. The first one is to spend less money. Last year, I had a resolution similar to this, but it was to save more. I have actually been pretty good at this and I have set aside some money each month. However,…

Blogmas Day 22 – Yearly Round Up!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 22! As another year is nearly up, I thought it would be a nice idea to look back over 2017. I guess the first thing to mention isn’t really an achievement, but it is a pretty big deal in my life. I turned 20. I’m no longer a teen! I cannot believe how quickly my teenage years flew by. Grab each day, because time will go so fast and it will be gone before you know it. This year has also been a big step into the fitness world for me. I have tried to get into fitness and make healthier choices before, but I never really stuck…

Blogmas Day 21 – The 12 Scents Of Christmas!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 21! There are certain smells in the frosty air that just instantly make you feel festive. These 12 scents just scream Christmas for me. 1. Gingerbread I only really have gingerbread during the festive season, so when I start baking gingerbread cookies it definitely starts to feel like Christmas. 2. Cinnamon This is one of my favourite scents all year round, but it always makes me think of Christmas. 3. Christmas trees Obviously this one is going to make anyone feel festive. That fresh smell of the pines that you only get around this time of year. My family doesn’t have a real Christmas tree,…

Blogmas Day 20 – My Typical Christmas Day!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 20! We are so close to Christmas now, so I thought I would share my typical Christmas day with you. This is very much the same every year. I have 3 young siblings (well I say young, one is 16 but she still acts like a child), so we usually end up getting up at around 7 or 8 on Christmas morning. The whole family will then head upstairs into the lounge to open our presents. I like to enjoy this part and try to have a strategic way of opening them; one person at a time. However, with younger siblings, this starts out well until everyone…

Blogmas Day 19 – Winter Fitness Excuses and How to Avoid Them!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 19! Winter can be a very difficult time to motivate yourself to stay fit, but I’m here to help you avoid those common winter excuses. I have been pretty rubbish at doing any exercise over the past few months, so lets work on it together. “It’s cold.” Wrap up! There are plenty of fitness clothes out there that counter for cold weather. So get yourself some jumpers, long leggings and tops with sleeves, and get out there. Or, if you really don’t want to go outside, then do some indoor fitness. There are loads of apps out there with exercises that you can easily do in…

Blogmas Day 18 – My Go To Winter Outfit!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 18! My go to outfit throughout winter is very simple. Obviously I still like to look nice, because I’m a fashion freak, but I don’t put as much effort into my outfits at this time of year. I would much rather be warm and comfortable. Lets start with the main part of any winter outfit; the big, baggy jumpers. The one I am wearing in the photo is from Primark. Most of the jumpers you will see me wearing are from Primark, because they are super affordable and so comfy for the colder months. On the bottom half I tend to just go for some…

Blogmas Day 17 – My Least Favourite Things About Winter!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 17! In my last post, I shared some of my favourite things about winter. So, today I thought it would be an idea to share some of my least favourite things about this time of year. The cold! We are very lucky in the UK where temperatures will rarely drop below -8°C. But, I am not very good with low temperatures and I am always cold. I hate not being able to get warm and being cold at night is one of the worst things ever. The dark mornings. In my previous post I said how I loved the dark nights, but dark mornings is something I really…

Blogmas Day 16 – My Favourite Things About Winter!

Hi Guys and welcome to Blogmas Day 16! For this post I thought I would share some of my favourite things about winter. Winter is not one of my favourite seasons, but there are a lot of elements that I do love. Hot Chocolate! I will enjoy a hot chocolate all year round, but it’s so much more satisfying in the colder months. I just love the idea of cosying up by the fire with a hot chocolate in hand. Not having to shave my legs! Do you feel me girls? It is so much effort to shave in the summer, especially when the hair on my legs grows back…
